Greatness lies within our reach....oooh Destiny

I grew up with such an urge allure and admiration for the country's most premier jobs and you would help me bet its the state house. I didn't know that it was called politics and when I knew it is, my great admiration dwindled to such a great extent that would make my dream to ever occupy the said job hit their untimely death. However though, I remained (still remain to date) to love the Job description, security, allowances just as any lay Wanjiku n Akinyi from my village would irrespective of what takes you there. I had ever wanted to meet the "guys'' pardon please, their excellencies, honorableness EGH,EBS,CGH (still don't know what they mean though) perhaps shake their hands talk with them chat take photos and most probably exchange contacts. It got worse when in 2011, around March Dad came home with a picture alongside him was the now Deputy President, Hon. William Ruto though he was still a "hustler" by then. I felt my dreams had just arrived and would stare at the photo years later and wonder whether I will ever get the chance to dream a reality maybe once in a lifetime. This year, I attended an event at CITAM Valley road. #INMEMORYOFMYLESMUNROE with three of my colleagues and mind you the DP was in attendance just some chairs ahead of us. I got more excited (don't mind my age), it only hit me then that I had the desire to meet him and also am sure he never wishes to meet me, in any case does he know i exist? When speakers would go to the Dias and tease the DP, the likes of Timothy Kaberia and Njugush Waiguru just to mention, I thought to myself, this is how close I got to reaching my 'DESTINY'? My story ends. I got home thinking of how I had missed such an opportunity to shake his hand and talk, however though, i realized that its just because I didn't have the correct mechanisms, I hadn't planned so well, I didn't consult better with the authorities but my destiny to meet them was within my reach. The same way and the same story can be told of life, where we going becomes our destiny, it forever rings in our mind if we are conscious but however we may still fail to get there not because its not there but we fail to seek and look for the means. to any Christian the Bible should act as  the manual. The thing is there is destiny for us all. We only have to be precise one where to start and where we want to get. know the directions and the correct means to get there. Mine might have been only one chance and it may never come back again. I really feel it so hard but it explains more than what I needed, where I have placed my hopes and my dreams of getting its achievable and its there. I want to get to heaven. its achievable, I want to get bigger in my career in life, my mission to live for another all this is within reach. I just have to allow myself to truly and fully dedicate my mind and everything  I  have that each day i better my chances and i work towards getting there. Off for holidays?.. Time to think and pray hard on our destiny. we gonna make it.

Power Is In Us

I probably was in class two or three when i heard of such`you have a potential within you'. Maybe because I had often heard my dad encourage my elder sibling when her maths didnt seem to get well with her and neither was her sciences. That being the case I didnt pay attention to the numerous times the same replayed in my head.
Today It just hit me that most of the timed are those that I fail to recorgnize the power that has been deposited in us. One thing no one can contend is that God had an intent when he put together workmaniship and breathe in you and me, He wished that each creature lives well on land He gave unto us.. The good book Jer 29vs 11 says it best. But we men tend to look so much from our surroundings linking them to our misfortunes and whats more to reasons that we haven't made it yet. You and I got to accept abd believe in us lies power to conquer fears worries and trouble that comes our way. The manual (BIBLE ) has been given to us wr found it there . In Isaiah 1vs 19: `` if you are willing and obedient l,you will eat the Good things of the land" .The good can only be seen by those who choose to those who decide to look into themselves and do the right in law.

Testimony Tuesday_ I have one...

it was not in pursuit of Geography that they had to go through all spheres of life, enjoying some hating the more and crying in each. They had just thought of a good life ahead and every thing seemed to fall in place. What in life did they ever not see?. They had to be through the mountains valleys and plains to realize that indeed life is so big and enough is hardly enough even when you have enough to tap it all.
Times were that  the only reason they went home was to hide fro the big winds of the night and the norm that any sane person is supposed to be home at night, keep off your mind  the joy of being at home that for years was unheard off don't call it poverty it indeed was more than that. People still assume a smile even when hungry, even when dying but then for them believe you me that it was just uncouth
to smile. No one would have wished to be associated with them let alone to be seen with them, that's the time i conquer to and with the good book Proverbs chapter 19 and verse 4. The young sibling had to go to school and the rest thank God were in boarding school though without fees at least they could not per take of the sufferance cup around home nor would they be party to the Emotio-physchological trauma being experienced therein. The good book reminds me of '' You shall tell the story of how you overcame'' and for them it shall have all features fit for prose suspense attracting the listeners( band of angels and arch angels) as they make ready the victors crown and hold them closely in their arms leading them to their forever home.
Days after secondary admission and talking of going to school was more of a mockery than it would ever sound real. Tears had become a part of their diet without which no 'meal' would be served. All was not well for them but one thing stood out for them and it shall forever stand, allow me quote it Psalms 18 vs 6 ''in my distress I called to the LORD; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears"

I want to... the man, That man, Enough

I want to.... be a man enough, enough for my lineage and enough to see my
Lines age, enough to conquer my fears and fight my worries,
Yes I want to.

I want to be strong, not to fight for vengeance but to shield
myself, family and friends from mental wars, warfare and calamities
whatsoever. I want to be the the Man, That Man,Enough!

But'' I WANT TO"""....
Ask why this? When I stay up in my room, to watch the floods, of
water, rivers, and I see the seas of tears, It drives me  to remember that
maybe, its just a dream, to be the man, That Man, Enough.

.I want to,... Live the buts and buts, and more buts, oops and I
remember, Its been long the dusk of the night found me not smiling a
minute, and the dawn has opened up so many frustrations, all this,
show to well my dream is not timely. But I want to be the man, That
Man, Enough.

The agony of a son in the middle of thorns, round about him,the refuge
is not present either but the maker. I see too well the danger of
having been born to this world, framed a 'Conqueror' but each day you
still working on A, who is to do till Z?... The man, That Man, Enough.

Around teenage, they introduced me to
what was made to my understanding to be manhood,
a man shall not cry, a man shan't weep, a man shan't be defeated,
shan't be a coward, shant be duped, shant be tricked, shant shant shant
and more of the shants but they didnt tell me
what a man shall.. but I want to be a man, the man, That man enough

But what does it mean to be a man?
the many heartbreaks you administer or is it the many you conquer?
is it the number of children you have or is it the children that proudly call you dad?
is it the wife who calls you each day and you pick her at the salon?.
or is it the many workable accounts you have in the banks?
is it? is it? is it ?.. forgive my grammar, so many questions BUT
I still want
to be a man, The man, That man, Enough....

'' A man learns masculinity primarily from his father. But generations of boys who grow up without caring fathers or male mentors to emulate are left to guess what "men" are really like. They rely on cultural icons--larger-than-life images--as models of masculinity. As a result, they grow up mirroring overblown myths of manhood. Obsessed with being "man enough," they become philanderers, controllers, and competitors--constantly overcompensating for their loss of a true role model, yet sorely unprepared for family life.'' I miss the times .. song of a crushed son

For real I miss the times,
when we had fun,
times when hugs talked,
that I would spend time,
talking to one who cares,
one who gave me an ear,

 I miss the times

regrets get the better me,
why i had to do it at first,
I realize that I said sorry,
but it never got it away,
yes my guilt kills me hard,
wish i could stand your eyes,
just for a second or two,
have the pleasure of you,
right in my arms you be,
call you sweetheart dear,
with all love give you it,
a hug like no other ever,
 I miss the times
